A cozy family retreat!
We really enjoyed our stay! The staff was super friendly and helped us with an early check-in. The two queen beds felt great, and the room was cozy. Loved the warm pool and the tasty breakfast with waffles. The only thing was the pool area could use an update. But overall, it was a nice time for our family.

The place was clean, our room was impeccably clean and relaxing. After a long drive the polite stuff was waiting for us. The location was good - close to casinos and restaurants. The hotel was set in a stunning area. We liked this place.

easy access to parks and city attractions for weekend wanderers
I had a really great time enjoying the nearby Hopeville Pond State Park, just under 5 kilometers away, where i took a peaceful stroll and soaked in the beautiful natural scenery with trails. Being only a short drive from some fantastic local landmarks made it easy to explore and savor the local atmosphere during my weekend.

Good sized and immaculate room, spotlessly clean hotel in general.

Location
We were extremely disappointed in the "free shuttle" service. We were told we did not need to make reservation on the shuttle. We went to put on our names in the list to get to a concert at 8 and the only available shuttle was a 9 pm shuttle. Very bery disappointing!!!! We ended up taking a cab. NOT Cool

Broken whirlpool tub in room, broken hot tub, broken pool heater, awful smell in hallways, musty smell in room. Horribly rude other guests.

Just a fitting option for a weekend getaway in Griswold with attractive and competitive value for money. The microwave and fridge in the room were great, a rare find these days! Be sure to check the pool hours for a quieter swim.
